I was there about a month ago. It was a great place to ride. Did you use paddles? And the big hill there we call 100 dallar hill. If anyone has been to Glamis and seen Oldsmobile hill you have something to compare to. Only 100 dollar hill is at least 3 times longer and about 5-10 degrees steeper!!!It's huge!!! Oh and if you go bring your jets cause at the very highest point of the area your probably real close to 9000' above sea level

I've been looking to get out of the Phoenix/Mesa heat. Any cool places like the Cinders? I've never been to the Cinders, how do you get there and are there any good places there for kids to ride? I don't want them trying to tackle a hill from hell. Not so sure I'd want to try it. Thanks for any info.

There are a lot of great areas for kids to ride at the cinders. I can't really give you directions cause I've only been there once and I was following my friends and it was at night. But its right outside Flag and the turn off to the riding area is off of Country Club. Maybe someone else on the forum has better directions, sorry.

Hey, Thanks a bunch FullThrottle. I rode yesterday at Four Peaks. We get there early (before 6:00am) to beat the heat. I've riden Four Peaks dozens of times and it's always great (even when dusty). Do you ever get up there?
