Hey everyone! I thought i read a post somewhere that someone was having there whole pred chromed out. I was just wondering what all on a 4-wheeler is possible to have chromed out? Like on the engine, what can be chromed, and does anyone know how much it cost to get some things chromed. Thanx again for any info!!

I have polished the front hubs and tie rods on my pred.

so your hubs and tie rods are chrome now, about how much did that run if you don't mind me asking, and do only certain places do the chroming. thanx man!!

I don't think he has them chromed, you can polish aluminum parts to a very high shine, not chrome, but just as nice and the price is right.

On a predator it doesnt matter how nice it looks they really arent that nice looking to come with and its not like the raptors and Z's are gonna see it when u fly bye them??? all it does is make poeple think ur fast people are intimidated bye chrome bikes cause they know its all aftermarket i say make it look stock and hall ass...

chrome doesn't make it faster, but id does look good wehn you are sitting still. anyway, all aluminum parts can bepolished up using an aluminum polish that can be found at many auto parts of auto paint supply atores. this will take quite a bit of time, but not cost much. as for the chrome, most steel parts can be chromed, but take into consideration that the choming process weakens the metal and therefore should not be used on any part that is structural - james
