Why do you need 10 or more curve settings on a cdi. If I got one I would not run it under the stock curve. I would think 2 or3 settings would do it. Thanks

Chilly, need is a very subjective word.
I just want more choices. One for the start of the race, change it coming out of the first corner for your race map. Different tracks and changing conditions need different curves.
One of my maps has a rev limit of 10150rpm so we can test different mods without the standard rev limit becoming a controlling factor.

HMMM I think I'm to slow. Need more info on it, or maybe I just do'nt understand. When I race, yea I'm old but ****. I do'nt have time to think about changing the curve on the cdi coming out of the first corner. I'm WFO and not trying to hit someone, (holeshot) extra. Not total duh, but I always thought (at least for the RPM curve) it would depend on what gear you started on.(what gear 1 or2 ) And how you use your clutch. HMMM I must be getting real old. O-well I forgot.

I raced 2 stock banshees today 1/4 mile on pavement five times. I beat them on setting 1, three times but not on setting 8 twice with the vortex box, need to do more testing.
