I was wanting to know if i can change the carb to get rid of that vaccum type and maybe put a 40mm kehien on. would that change anything? I know that i would have to change the intake boot on motor. But i really do not like the vaccum,I would rather have the mech, carb on this bike.I would guess that the 40mm would do about th same as the stock on only because it is not a vaccum.I have heard that you lose a little with the vaccum type carbs.Anybody know if this is a good idea?????

Yes but on the pred, It is the vaccum that moves the slide. And if you can get the slide to move faster. And the better the throttle responce will be.So in other words if the slide moves on a cable when you press the thumb lever it will open the slide faster,Then waiting for it to get the vaccum up to open the slide.Tat is why you have that hesitation when you gas on it.If it was on a cable it would not have as much of a hesatation. At least that is what i think.
