i don't know if any of u other guys had this problem with your preds i was just looking mine over real close yesterday and i seen that my rear brake line had been rubbing on the brake disk and had rubbed a hole in the rubber coating i will be taking it to the dealer they said that they never herd of hat happening b4 i also noticed that my upper chain slide was cracked that will also be getting fixed

Good eye, everyone should give their quad a good once over before each ride or after each cleaning, no matter what quad it is. Thinks can loosen up or wear differently. Better safe than sorry!

Thanks for the info. I also checked mine right after I read this post and mine was rubbing also. I don't think it was like this the entire time, though. Looks to me like it could be pretty easy for a stick or branch or something to hook the brake line and move it closer to the disc. The guide that the brake line runs through on the swingarm doesn't really hold it that tightly, and I was able to pull the slack back towards the resevoir. I also put a tie wrap around the brake line through the slot on the caliper arm and made it just tight enough to keep it away from the disc. I'll still have to replace that line anyway, but this will keep it from getting worse.
