I am thinking about buying a Predator to make billet parts for. I manufacture performance and cosmetic parts for several other quads.

My questions are:

Are there very many machined parts you would buy for your Predator?

Are there very many companies making parts for it?

What is needed?

I would appreciate your opinions/thoughts.

Yes there are quite a few parts that can be billet, as i said in another post, some of them are, handlebar clamp, rear brake lever, shift lever, hubs, gas cap, oil cap, clutch cover, other engine covers, these are just a few examples of what I personally whould like to see made for the pred. lets here somemore suggestions and Noss, please tell me if any of these parts would be too difficult to have made. >>travis

I am in need a a steering stem right now, if you had one i would buy it.

Rath racing is selling aftermarket steering stems for the predator, along with alot of other stuff, some of it's kinda pricy tho.

Yeah i already called them and they said in a weeks time they could have one for me, but i had my steering stem straightend out today, so i will save my $300

yeah there aren`t many companies making to much for the pred yet but R-Beast has some good stuff,these are polished the radiator guard, radiator res.guard,batery cover,shock res.guard,and airbox cover. but the are plain, also there is one company that makes billet brake res. guards for 40 bucks i bought one toay. so yeah icould use a bunhc of billet,chrome, o polishe alluminum parts including brake lever,thumb throttle piece, parking brake device,hubs,stator cover,engine covers, dual exhust would be a fortun for who ever had time to create one, the shifter and al of the little pieces on he right side of the bike behind the brake pedal. maybe som cool radiator hoses or all hoses for that matter. let me know what is going to be able to be made into production. also i saw a pred with turbo kit i would love one of these so i can ride wheelies over 100mph what a rush.... ohh yeah maybe even a billet airbox and heelguards

I'd love to get some billet accessories including:

gas cap
oil cap
levers
throttle
shift lever
brake res. cover.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if all this shiznit was available from Pure Polaris for '04.....

The only other thing I want is a set of clear radiator hoses. I think my bike would look sweet with the blue Engine Ice showing through the hoses. I called WOCO Engineering, but they have not made a set for the Predator yet.
