hey warning i've been up around hazelton in the coal hills. the tops can become real loose. i'm running a 39 tooth in the rear w/ 21" mud sharks. this seems to work ok. the tires seem to make the big difference. are you running the stock tires yet, because they suck in that stuff. first off they are too low profile your swingarm will drag and second they aren't quite aggresive enough tread wise. when i switched tires i walked right up stuff that use to give me headaches. if your spinning you probably need a taller tire for some added ground clearance. i've seen the Realtors ( flipped backwords in the real loose stuff), Maxxis Sur traks, and the GBC mud sharks have some success in those conditions. as i said i use the mudsharks but i think when there do i may go w/ a 22" tire.

ps the spidertracs seem decent too

hey, i use a set of turf tamers with ever other row shaved out for the sandpits/sanddrags in my area and have had real good luck with them , the are a way better tire in the soft stuff compared to the stock tires , you can still use them on the trails (hardpack..ect) but the wear kinda fast.hope this helps....later
