i have a squeeking noise coming out of my left side hub. i havent tore it down yet, but was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. everything is holding up fine, but the noise has seemed to get louder over the last two rides.

have you greased your zerk on your rear axel?

yeah, once a week. i checked it out , its not in the axle, its in the left hub. im going to tear it apart tommorow and see if something is cracked or if the hub nut is loose or whatever else may be wrong in there.

tore down the hub today, and there is not any noticable cracks. i did notice that the hub is a little sloppy on the axle without the nut or washer on, is this common? my 400ex hubs did not have any play.

p.s.-when i say they were sloppy on the hub, i dont mean on and off the hub, i mean forward and backward on the hub!
