I run XC and I'm not real impressed with the rear tires. Is the tread different on these Razrs than on the aftermarket Razr? THey just don't seem to bit as well as i would like. I need new ones because one has the sidewall torn out. Looking for advice. I have run Kenda Knarly's, bandits, and holeshots on my Rs before. ANyone tried these on the pred.

the razr's you would buy aftermarket are 4-ply, maxxis made the stock 2-ply razr's special for polaris to keep weight down, you might want to try the razr2 6-ply tires, they have excellent forward bite and have deeper lugs to help in the muddy or soft areas. The razr2 fronts offer much better high speed stability as well as better braking.

correct they only come in 9s. YOu need a set of rath hubs that change it to a honda bolt pattern. well worth the money if you need to swap tires often.

I believe the 04 predator is going to have 9" rims with Honda type pattern. Mignt be cheaper to swap out their hubs.

THEY DON'T HAVE TRACTION AS WELL A 9 INCH SET-UP BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE AS MUCH SIDEWALL FLEX WITH A 9 INCH AS YOU WOULD WITH A 10 INCH REAR WHEEL.

ABOUT TO ORDER 9 INCH WHEELS MYSELF WITH OHTSU (STOCK 400 EX TIRES) NEVER HAD A TIRE TO BITE HARDER THAN THESE.
