My girlfriend has a 2002 raptor and her reverse does not work all the time, the rev limiter keeps the bike from moving and it will backfire and stall out. Anyone have any idea as to how to disable the reverse rev limiter or fix the problem ?

do a search on e-bay for raptor reverse limiter bypass. Somebody sells a very nice kit with great instructions. Also gives u a button to turn it on and off.

Yah, she gives me crap about it all the time considering she works for a yamaha dealership. But when it came down to it, I wanted the best, and the raptor wasent it.

Its ok tho, I bought my last R1 from her so, streetwise im still yamaha or suzuki. But dirt... Im pred all the way.
