I will soon have a few parts here to mod my predator. I'm going with the slip on K&N filter with the outerwear, the K&N Jet kit, a WB slip on, and a 13 tooth front sprocket and a 38 tooth rear sprocket.... for now, I also ordered a 36. Anyhow, I live in BFE in SouthEast Kansas. The elevation here is about 5500 feet. What would be a good guess of jets to start out with trying?? I will be going to arizona here in a few weeks, so what up with that? If I jet it before I go, am I going to have to switch down there? I have a friend who lives there and has a predator and I'm sure he can tell me what jets to use at that elevation, he lives around Prescott Valley? And can I do this myself? I'm mechanically inclined, but never been in a carburetor. Are the instructions thorough enough anyone with .02 can do it? thanks

jetting is easy, just time consuming, most likley will will need jetting changes when you go arizona. If you buy a jet kit, it should have detailed instructions, you can save some money and just get the jets from the dealer, but if you have no idea where to start you could end up spending just as much as a compleat jet kit. The dynojet kit comes with a wide range of main-jets and has very good instruction. With there directions, I doubt you will have any problems doing it yourself.
