i am hoping i get my predator home tommorrow with its 530 kit and porting, i havent done any airbox mods, if i get the k&n clamp on will it really help alot now, or should i just wait until i get a carb to get that?

Thanks for the great info Local Buzz gave us about Hyper Racing, I'd drop $23 on a K&N RU-1770 in a heartbeat. Letting it breath never hurts, only makes you smile more.

OK...Here's a question:
Has anyone actually dynoed the open filter? I have found the ole "butt dyno" to be most unreliable at times. ESuperbike and another poster there claims a loss of ponies without an airbox. I hate doing mods just for the sake of doing them. Show me the numbers.

well,mickey dunlap said to try it with just the k&n drop in,and use a 160 main jet, i may try that at first,until i can afford to do some major mods,like the carb,cdi,clamp on , and walker evans,(or rezzi's) i might just wait until winter to do all of them , i am sick of having it in the shop with the nice weather outside, them idiots still havent put it together,i wish i knew more about working on my atv's ,
