I have yet to get the predator but am thinking about getting the airforce kit for my airbox when it arrives. In Miami, there are a lot of places that can get muddy and very wet at times. If I were to go in deep water, all that water would go right into my airbox because of the hole you have to make or does that outerwear make some difference, Im assuming it is not worth it in my situation?

excess - i have problems with the stock snorkel sucking in water! it seems when you make a left turn, the water shoots off the left tire and right into the snorkel.

I've found that too, with the left turn. If I know I'm going to be in an area where I'm just splashing through some low water (puddles or water/mud holes) I leave the bottom "drain" plug off. Then if any gets in, it just flows right back out again.

wouldnt by leaving this bottom drain out..actually create another hole for water to get in?? kinda defets the purpose doesnt it? wouldnt a better idea be, after you go through a large body of water..stop and take the drain plug off..let it drain out..then replace it?

Like I said, if it's low water, I leave it out. If I'm planning on crossing a river, I would never leave it off.
