what mod is better .. if clamp-on what part #... if air box what mods ..???

Heard the Hot Seat K&N setup works good. Probably because it is huge compared to te clamp ons and has a little intake tubing. do a search on atvconnection.com at the polaris forum and all the history of what guys have tried are there. I am trying to figure out in my head how to make an adaptor for the RF-1001 like the Hot Seat kit without spending basically $200 for a billet adaptor that only mates the stock intake tube with the filter. Chances are I won't be able to do it so will end up forking the cash over. Anyway, I am going to try and make sort of a wood mold for the adaptor and use that and fiberglass to do it. It is a good winter project. If spring hits and I don't have anything that is durable, ..time will be up.

I think air box mods will be the best but now I have a dynojet kit and they only have no air box moda or clamp-on filter.. so now what????
