I have to wait another month I just found out until my frist race. I have to be 16 to race a full size quad in New York. This sucks. If any other states have age requirements I would like to know.

Is not a NY state requirement but a AMA/ATVA requirement if the engine size i believe is over 200cc. The ATVA website should list the age/cc requirements. www.atvaonline.com

I live in Washington State and there is a 14 year racing a 400ex in the C class. I am guessing there are no age restrictions. Maybe there are age restrictions but they are not as strict about it here.

i live in maryland and u have to be 16 to race over a 90 cc quad

I live in Alaska and there are no age limits other than you cannot be over 9 years old to race in the mini quad class. I have 4 kids ages 6, 10, 12 and 14 and the older three race blasters in the novice class. I always thought it was kind of amusing that according to the CPSC my kids should all be riding mini quads and the state racing rules say they cannot race mini quads because they are too old. By the way, the 10 year old actually won 2 motos in a row on his blaster (no mods) against all sorts of full size quads.
