I am probably going to compete in 300' dirt drags in a couple weeks, this will be my first organized atv race ever. My predator is BONE STOCK right now and I want to compete in the stock 500cc class, does anybody know what mods I could make that fall within the rules of stock? Can I/ should I gear down to a 13t front sprocket?

I never seen a track that did not allow gearing changes and paddles in the stock class. most stock classes will even allow a slipon, anything except internal motor work or power adders like nitrous, turbo ect...

I just got a response from the club president that is organizing this race, they allow gearing changes, air filters, pipes, and I dont know what else. I guess its not really a stock class but its not an open class either. Looks like I can get that k&n now, and this is good enough reason for me to gear down.
