04 sportsman 700 twin transmission
Recently purchased a great running but stuck in high range sportsman 700, after getting into the shifter box I found it was all installed wrong, after getting it to shift, it won't stay in gear and sounds like my transmission is about to send it, lots of chain and heavy clanking noises even while stationary. I ordered a new transmission and was wondering if there is a site where I can purchase a complete kit to rebuild it, and if any of you fine folks would happen to know what happened and how to avoid it happening again this will be my first ever transmission rebuild so if you have any pointers please share.
