Prolly getting my preddy back!

Well, I sold my predator to my brother on a "quad contract" or "rent to own" deal. He has paid me faithfully, but has fallen into hard times. He asked if he could return the pred to me. I said, SURE! So, I guess I am going to have two quads.

Well, the Predator is back home. I am going to tear it down and rebuild it AGAIN! This time, I am going to make it specifically for one thing, either MX or trails. I think MX as I now have a great trail machine.

so what do you think of the predator for a trail machine shakin? as you probably seen over on the predatorriders forum, i'm looking at getting the Outlaw 525, but dealers want a mint, could pick up a like new predator for thousands cheaper, maybe even a YFZ450 or LT-R450....

I would like to do some racing here, but not sure if MX, really would like something to ride trails and also do some GNCC style racing...

Well, for trail riding, the Predator is the better of the straight axle machines. If your are serious about racing GNCC and want to be very competitive, I would think the 525 would be the way to go. If you are looking to do more trials and some racing, the Predator for a much cheaper price is the way to go. For just a few hundred dollars you can bore the Predator to a 558cc and SMOKE! THE 450's. I have a 558 big bore in my machine and have yet to get beat in an unsanctioned drag race.
