97 explorer 500 carburetor

Hello, I just joined this site and am looking forward to gaining some knowledge from other Polaris owners. I hope I am on the right forum for asking this question. I just put a new carburetor on, a new fuel pump and a new choke cable and I can crank it up but when I give it the gas, it starts bogging down. When I turn this gas on and crank it up, the fuel filter never fills up with fuel, there is just a little in the bottom. The fuel hoses are hooked up like they were when I took the old carburetor off and replaced it but the two nipples on top of the carburetor, the hoses had fell off. Can somebody please tell me where they go to and why is it bogging down. I know this is a long thread but I am trying to get this thing figured out quick cause itís my wifeís and she is ready to ride. Please respond and I will answer any questions I can. Thank you very much
