I have a 07 Outlaw 500 which has been sitting for about a year and i noticed oil everywhere on the bottom end, it doesn't look like its coming from up top, it was wet all around the drain plug, i took it in to get serviced and they said the case was leaking. Is this a common thing or are they just trying to get me, any help appreciated, thanks.

i have never owned a 500 outlaw but i have owned 5 predators with the same fuji 500 engine as your outlaw and never had a single case leak.
although my outlaw 525 has a real good case leak. maybe it is just an outlaw thing. ![]() seriously though do you trust the mechanic? if so he is probably right. if not get a second opinion from someone you do trust. should be fairly easy to clean the engine real good and run it and see where it is leaking with your own eyes.
