Hey folks. Im looking for a new centerlink for my bike, and i see that there is a difference in the centerlink if your bike is build before or after 11/29/06...?
What is the difference, and how do i know if my bike is built before or after that date? |

I think the only difference is the material they used for the link. I thought the early ones were aluminum and they bent like pretzels. Later ones were steel.
Your date of build should be on your VIN number sticker under the headlights on the frame.

So the only difference is alu or steel.. And i found out that my bike were buildt 1month before the date, therefor alu.. And i bought that.. But i could buy steel (ie. the centerlink for the bikes after that date) and it will fit and take on more punishment? God dammit.. So typical me :P |
