My son's Trail Boss seems to have lost it's rear shock. When you compress the rear end, it's very slow to return to normal height. OEM replacement is about $100 so I'd like to know if anyone has used any aftermarket rear shock that might be less expensive or provide better performance.
Also, any specific sites that have good prices on parts?

Try Progressive Suspension and Works Performance. Neither will be cheaper than OEM, but both will be far superior. I.e. you will likely never need to replace the shock again... at most, you'd have it rebuilt (fresh gas/oil, etc).
I have Works Performance shocks on my Grizzly 660 and they're the best mod I ever did to that machine. Granted they were almost $800 for all four, but still. Fortunately, you only have one shock to replace on the Trailboss. Rob
