I need some new tires i think and Im not sure where is the best place to get em. Any ideas ?? Can I mount them myself ?

I still have the factory tires, what should I go too. I know I wanna go to a 27" or 28" tire.

From what I have been reading, I'm going with a set of Pit Bull tires when my stocker eat the dust. I am personally going with the Growler as it suits my needs better than the Rocker. Check them out. They are an expensive tire, but it is worth it in the long run.

tires all depend on what you are going to use them for....dirt, mud, rocks, a combination, before you decide what tire you want

here in New Mexico, I don't ride alot of mud, but when it rains, its slick, so i want something that will work in mud, just don't need for deep mud because i want to be smooth on the trails....

where I hunt, there are alot of sharp rocks, if you are running a two ply or four ply tire, forget it, you will be plugging them every day, ,even on 6 ply tires i got flats, so now i'm running the GBC Grim Reaper, 8 ply tires....no flats ever with these tires, great all around tread, bit heavier than some tires, but worth the need. Friend is running GBC Dirt Commanders, also 8 ply, also great tires, no flats either.

I wore out my stock Goodyear Rawhide grips. Went with a set of Grim Reapers. Wow! What a difference. Its like night and day. Ride is so much smoother I can't believe I'm on the same machine. Took it out on some snow and ice and did great in 2wd. I can't wait for summer to get here and see how they do in other types of terrain.
