Default AMA rules for 50cc class & need tire size

I am building '99 e-ton 50cc quad for my son. He currently rides an '05 90cc predator but our local track went AMA so now he has to drop down to a 50. My question is- how wide and long can I go with this machine? It looks like in the AMA rules- I can go 41 inches both ways. I am looking at swapping out my extreme parts (+3+1 a-arms, +4 swing arm, pipe, nerf bars, etc.) Selling stock extreme since older son moved up to a Quadracer with a CR85 motor on it- wow- does that thing scream!! With all the money wrapped up in these parts, I was hoping I could use them on the e-ton frame and then move them to the predator 90 when he moves up. What size tires are people running on these? Last questions- what are people running for gears, wieghts and chain size (420)?

Right now I am at stripped frame looking at if the AC nerfs will be legal or not. Then get the paint out and trick it out!

How much are you looking to get for the extreme parts, also I have a ported and polished 50cc cylinder and head, the head is shaved .040 has lots of compresson. I was ruuning 19t front and 30t rear sprockets and i believe i was running 5 gram rollers.

By the way, did you just buy that quad off ebay? I was eyeing that.

If the parts don't fit my 50 I will put them on my '05 Predator 90- he will be on that quad in a couple years. Do you have to run racing gas with your cylinder/head set up? I did buy the quadracer on e-bay. It was't as cherry as he led it to be, but it will be when I am done with it. What size tires and rims do you run on your mini?

Rampolaris, just a FYI, if the aftermarket parts you have fit your Predator 90, then they will fit on you Eton 50 too, I have a 99 Eton impuls and I have stock Predator 90 arms on it, they bolted right on.

Thanks thechamp27. I have done alot of measuring between all 3 quads and the only thing different is the actual length of the parts- the mounting part looks the same (rear swing, a-arms, shocks).

I was not running race gas with the cylinder and head and it ran great. I have 19x6x10 hole shots in the front, and 18x6.5x8 snowdogs in the rear.
