grease monkey,

stoney lonesome is a new atv/ohv park there on the west side of exit 299, the east side of 299 and the i-65 intersection is the famous "chigger ridge" riding area. the stoney park is fairly large, see their website for an aerial map. their trails are marked with the level of difficulty that branch off the wide main 2 way trail down the center of it all.

we've ridden there at stoney while it was being built and near completion, it's open every day during the week, so if any of us get a day off and want to blast or site see during the week with much less traffic on the trails then this is the hot ticket. the lady that owns/ operates the place is named cheri and she'll send you emails to your inbox with weather updates for the upcoming weekend and updates on the happenings at the park itself, very cool.

it's a large place, layed out well and is ever growing as they are revising it. i like the sharp changes in altitude it has you'll see what i mean when you ride it, check out their website and see what you think. also there's another place to ride between exits 299 and 291 called, " wilborns atv park". on the east side of hwy 65. it's much larger and caters to all facets of riding, also has serious events that they video like, rock crawling, hill climbing and mud drags..

let me know when your headed out that way,,,
