Default Wincester Bay OR

i rode the last two weekends down at the windy bay first stayed with one friend in his motor home at half moon and meet up with 40 or so people that know one another thru sombody there, thur thru sun this is the fifth time riding total on the sand for me with a quad , it was a blast except i stuffed it at about 25 mph into a hidden v and lawn darted my self into the sand a couple of bruises and a hurt eogo but did not hurt the outlaw this was fri after chasing my buddies all over trying to up my skills , did the wall a couple of times and a bowl run in the coliseum at great neck speed and alot of trail riding .
sat found a trail that seemed easy enough and got stuck, backed down once no issue gave it another try got a little further and burried it again this time i screwed up should have got off and pulled the quad around ,but tried coasting backwards not enough front break, a little to much speed and to much back brake and i have an outlaw sitting on my chest as i roll with the weight of the quad down the hill and push it off of me it filps three times ,again very luckey another bruise to my right leg and no damage to the outlaw.

second weekend guys ride
sand camping at site 35 in a weekend warrior and a couple of other guys with there toy haulers with 18 crazy rednecks 8 banshees ,(4 strokes) 2 450 hondas 2 suzuki 450s ,1 kawi kfx 750 twin, 1 525s outlaw and 2 preds and a raptor.
testing my muscle recovery
starting to hold up better and ride standing up more makes riding thru the whoops at higher speeds easier to keep up with the better riders did 5 total rides over two days about an hour and half each time we went out. tested the helmet out on a low hanging branch saved me from a bad head injury. was a great weekend no wrecks for me this time and satyed up with the guys in the middle of the pack feels good to keep improving for a forty year old wantabe throlle jockey.

nice pictures james. my brother lives outside of portland oregon. i have been out there for business and rode in the woods with him around his house but i still have yet to hit any sand in oregon. his buddy owns a bunch of banshees and they ride the sand all the time. i need to get out there for fun next time.

i heard you got to ride some fast outlaws. is there any room in your heart for a ktm powered polaris? i think you could have 2 it will keep the predator company and you could always do minimal mods and not totally reconfigure the engine. your predator would still be the fastest in your garage for a long time to come.
