Default Outlaw 500 Tips

I just bought a 2006 Outlaw 500 last week, last night i replaced the inner cv boot and got to put in rear wheel bearings yet and just seeing if theres any heads up on these machines or any parts that require attention and any simple mods to do, and any suggestions for rear tires they are almost bald and what are you guys getting for top speeds? i got 118kmph with a gps which is 73mph. also the sprocket bolts came loose and the locking bracket device almost ripped the other inner cv boot up just wondering if any one had these bolts come loose on them thanks!

yes those bolts come loose. polaris made a retainer clip plate that bolts under the bolts and has tabs that fold up against the bolts. with a little loctite on the threads and that plate mine have never backed out on me.

yes i have that retainer clip and it still came loose and almost ripped a inner cv boot so i removed it because it was bent out of shape so now i have lock washers in behind it. and today i was driving my quad around and i was in reverse and it stalled and would not start back up...... i am in the process of seeing if it has spark and i am pretty sure it is getting the fuel. any ideas of what it could be?
