Default Best set up

Whats the best exhaust for the 06 Predator? also what do you guys think about running the the 04-05 honda 450r carb? whats going to give me the best performance without going into the motor?

i like the 04 05 450r carb. i like the hmf slip on the best followed by the fmf and the pp pipe.

an after market slip on pipe a good open air filter and good jetting will give you the best gains.

just the slip on? not the full exhaust? how does the honda carb work? i know you dont just throw it in there right?

the slip on with the stock header makes better power than most of the aftermarket headers.

no you can't just throw it in there. you have to remove the stock carb. heat up the head to carb boot and get the carb to fit. it has a larger throat outside than the stock carb. install the new carb with a honda throttle cable and thumb throttle. block off the hot start passage, jet it and tune it and then you can run it. it is also better to eliminate the fuel pump as this carb runs better without it.
