Default Exhaust Gets Hot Quick

We bought a 2008 Polaris Outlaw 525 IRS about 2 months ago. When we got it it had a full CT Racing exhaust with the jet kit, and an aftermarket air filter. When we were buying it it wouldn't start on it's own, so we called out neighbor to ask him (He works on motorcycles a lot, especially KTM) and he told us to go ahead and get it because it's most likely the decompression stuff. But it wasn't. So we changed the starter, voltage regulator, starter solenoid, and the battery. We finally got it to start fine.

Now I'm noticing that the exhaust is getting really hot really quick. I started it for the first time in 2 weeks today (because of the electrical problems) and the exhaust got really hot coming out of the motor. It had only been running maybe 2 or 3 minutes then. I did notice a little white smoke coming out the exhaust, but I'm pretty sure that's fine. I ran great by the way.

I'm thinking this could have something to do with the jetting, but I'm really not the smart one with motors. (My dad and neighbor are the smart ones.) I'm just wondering what you guys think. Is the heat fine, or should we check something?
