Default Big bore ?'s 558/550

Well after my last post Drag racing ?'s I feel like a complete dumbass... But i got some questions. I'm buyin the HPD 558 BB soon hopefully next week. I'm running stage one hot cams and was wondering if i should junk those and go back to stock or get the webcams 260i grind. Anyone know about how much the webcams would cost in the end? Also are they bolt in or not? Has anyone ever used any of the products made by aaenperformance.com? http://www.aaenperformance.com/Predator.aspThey do have a very nice custom intake I'm going to buy which is straight clamp on from the carb and comes with a plate to stop mud and crap haha.. And what about their high lifter cams and their 550bbk? Any help would be great...

Yeah, the 04-05 carbs will bolt up with some throttle cable modification and the 06 and up carbs require an adapter.

I want to do a big bore bolt on kit bit not sure what one to get any suggestions? I want to go with an aggressive cam and P&P the head. Anything else I should do while it's torn apart? I have the 39mm fcr mx gonna bore it to a 42mm and a trinity slipon.

there are very few people who will touch a predator head nowadays. HPD still does. Porting has never been a bang for the buck with the fuji engine. I just think the ports are way to big to start off. I have a big bore stroker (bb/s) 646 108 x 70.6 and it does haul the mail for a pred. but not the fastest pred out there. But there are very few fast preds that I know of.

I have been working on porting and chamber designs and still have no solid answers yet. Trinity pipe is spendy and probably not the best. HMF has been a standard and I always recommend the HPD full pipe. it has real gains.
Your best cam on the market I know of is the HPD 480 but you need to be set up to turn the rpm +10,000 rpm needs a falicon rod and that raises the build cost a bit. $230 for the rod plus new crank pin and bearing $100 and weld and balance. either you split the cases or find someone who can do it for you.

I'm not saying web cams are bad they are not. you just need to know what rpm you are after and what type of riding. all parts carb, ignition, pipe, bore, porting, intake and exhaust need to be well thought out. research will save you money and time.
